Enrollment Assistant (Cape May) (PT) - Job Opportunities at Atlantic Cape

Reporting to the Director, CMCC Student Services and Campus Management, the Enrollment Assistant serves as the One-Stop Enrollment representative at the Cape May County Campus. This position will provide support to the Admissions, Registration, Advisement, and Financial Aid staff. They will serve as the primary point of contact for students, prospective students, parents, and the community.

Duties:
  • Processes applications for admission, handles telephone, email and in-person inquiries regarding college programs and services
  • Serves as the Cape May County liaison for Admissions
  • Enters applications for admission into Recruit
  • Processes incoming high school and college transcripts with the Colleague system
  • Assists students with accessing student e-mail and WebAdvisor accounts
  • Processes credit and non-credit in person registrations and assists students with online registration
  • Ensures support documentation for transactions is received and filed
  • Assists with student enrollment verification requests
  • Process chargeback requests
  • Works with other departments and faculty to assist students
  • Provides front counter phone support, processes mail and faxes
  • Provides support for events at the Cape May County Campus
  • Provides consumer Financial Aid information on a one-to-one basis regarding eligibility and verification requirements, program information, and budget/cost of attendance components 
  • Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Associate’s degree

 Experience:

  • Experience in Higher Education setting preferred

 Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Excellent ability to communicate in written and oral form.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of Ellucian’s Colleague preferred
  • This position requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
